Obituary of Phyllis A. Verruggio

Port Allegany - Phyllis A. Verruggio, 100, of Coudersport, died Wednesday (August 13, 2014) in the Cole Memorial Hospital, Coudersport. She was born May 17, 1914 in Mona, now Granville, West Virginia, a daughter of Nichulas and Lillian Gullone. In 1931, in New York City, she married Salevatore Verruggio, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Verruggio worked in domestic help and nursing care in New York City and Long Island. She is survived by: three daughters: Joan Latessa of Boynton Beach, FL, Bonnie Randall of Oakland, CA, and Frances McKee of West Palm Beach, FL two sons: Charles Verruggio of North Charleroi, PA, and Salevatore Verruggio of Walnut Creek, CA 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters. There will be no visitation or services at this time.
