Obituary of Roberta L. Hadden

Port Allegany- Roberta L."Polly" Hadden, 71, of Port Allegany, died Saturday (October 18, 2014) in the The Pavilion at Bradford Regional Medical Center, Bradford, following a short illness.. She was born Oct 17, 1943 in Olean, a daughter of Francis and Frances Sweeney Horton. Polly was a waitress and bar tender for several local restaurant and bar, most recently she worked for the VFW in Port Allegany. She loved her Buffalo Bills. She is survived by one son: Michael (Theresa)Hadden of Erie, PA seven grandchildren; Allison Hadden of Harrisburg, PA; Haley Hadden of Williamsport, PA.: Ethan Peterson and Shannon Gnacinski both of Erie, PA; Dale Meacham III of Bradford, PA; Brittany Meacham of Roulette, PA; and Michelle Meacham of Part Allegany, PA. 10 Great Grandchildren one brother: James Horton of Town Of Tonawanda, NY and three nieces Visitation will be held on Tuesday Oct. 21, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc, 105 N Main St, Port Allegany, PA. Where funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wed. Oct. 22, 2014 , with the Rev Randall Headley, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Port Allegany, officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany. VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 6391 will hold services at 7:45 PM Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
