Obituary of Ginger Marie Taylor

Port Allegany - Ginger Marie Taylor, 63, of Duke Center, died Thursday (February 19, 2015) surrounded by her family, in Duke Center. She was born Jan. 2, 1952 in Port Allegany, a daughter of Lawrence and Mina M. Fitzmaurice Cochran. In April of 1970, in Yuma, AZ, she married Clarence A. Taylor, Jr., who survives. Mrs. Taylor was a 1970 graduate of Otto Eldred High School and worked as the manager of Perkins Restaurant of Bradford, PA, for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, baking, and canning. She was a dedicated Mother and Grandmother, and she also enjoyed her dog "Stinker". In addition to her husband, she is survived by: two daughters: Angela (Rob Holsinger) Taylor of Duke Center, and Jennifer (Mark) Valentine of Bentonville, AR two sons: Timothy (Kera) Taylor of Turtlepoint, and Brad Lee (Jamie Jackson) Taylor of Clermont nine grandchildren: Kayla Taylor, Timothy Taylor, Jr., Billy Downey, Max Valentine, Jack Valentine, Brittney Kriner, Breanna Kriner, Christian Jackson, and Haile Jackson one brother: Lawrence B. (Fran) Cochran of Coryville, PA, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Ronald Leo Cochran, and one sister: Sandra Kaziska. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held on Monday, Feb. 23, at 11:00 am from the Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes, Inc., Port Allegany, with the Rev. Max Simms, pastor of the Hilltop Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Port Allegany. Memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
